Ordered this for a black-tie event I have coming up. Dress arrived after about 4 weeks, within the range of dates it gave me for expected delivery. Always a little nervous buying clothes online because you can never be certain of quality or sizing until you try it on.
I’m about 5’7 and somewhere about 135lbs. Typically I’m a size 4 in dresses but can be a 2 or 6 depending on the cut or what the designer’s horoscope said on any particular day, you know the feeling. I erred on the large size and got a 6 because of the corset lace back and it’s easier to sew a few things smaller than it is to fit in a dress too small for you
I’m glad I did, I think this runs slightly on the small side, because the 6 is perfect, and the lacing in back and over shoulders makes it so easy to adjust the fit of the top. The way the shoulder strap laces work you can do spaghetti strap or make it a halter if you want.
The color is gorgeous and the material is heavy and smooth, it feels like good quality. There’s even a few pieces of boning sewn into the bodice to keep a nice shape and the structure of the front is well made. With a few inches of help from some heels, the length is perfect in the front the the back makes the slightest train which is nice. The way the fabric creates the slit in front is great too. It overlaps enough that it’s covering but will part a bit when walking, and when sitting or posing or can be adjusted as desired.
I intended to just get a nice dress for one occasion but am so pleasantly surprised by what I got. I love the burgundy but I’m tempted to get another color if I can find a place to wear it that would justify it.
I love love this and will hold onto it for a while. If you’re considering, maybe size up just in case but I would highly recommend!
My dress was beautiful. I had so many compliments, amazing color! I had to get it tailored because of the length of the tail but besides that I looked gorgeous on prom night.
Really cute dress, used custom measurements but it’s super tight around my butt and thighs, gonna have to figure something out to stretch it or returning it. Definitely size up around ur waist area if you have a bigger butt.

BUST
This is a measurement of the fullest part of your bust or body circumference at the bust. It is a body measurement which measures the circumference of a woman's torso at the level of the breasts.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust and center the tape on your back so it's levelled all the way around.
*Tips
This isn't your bra size!
Your arms should be relaxed, and down at your sides.
Wear the bra you're planning to wear with your dress when taking this.
WAIST
This is a measurement of your natural waistline, or the smallest part of your waist.
Run tape around natural waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor. Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist.
HIPS
This is a measurement around fullest part of your buttocks.
Wrap tape around the fullest part of your hips, which is usually 7-9" below your natural waistline. Keep tape parallel with floor all the way around.
HOLLOW TO HEM
This is the distance from your hollow to the hem of the dress.
Hold the measuring tape at your hollow while a friend pulls it down to the length you want your dress.
*Tips:
When taking this measurement, stand straight with your feet together.
We define knee length as the area just below your knee caps.
Measuring too high may result in a dress that is too short.
If this is a floor length dress please make sure you measure without wearing shoes.
BACK SHOULDER WIDTH
This is the distance from the edge of the left shoulder across to the prominent neck bone located at the center of the back of the neck continuing to the edge of the right shoulder.
Place the tape on "top" of the shoulders. Measure from the edge of the left shoulder across to the prominent neck bone located at the center of the back of the neck continuing to the edge of the right shoulder.
SLEEVE LENGTH
This is the measurement from your shoulder seam to where you would like your sleeve to end.
Measure from your shoulder seam to desired sleeve length with your arm relaxed by your side to get the best possible measurement.
*Tips:
Measure with your arm slightly bent.
ARMSCYE
This is the measurement of your armhole.
*Tips:
In order to take your armscye measurement, you must wrap the measuring tape over the top of your shoulder and around under your armpit.
ARM CIRCUMFERENCE
This is a measurement around the fullest part of your upper arm.

Measure with the muscle relaxed.
